Narail: A 10-year-old boy was found dead at his home in Bahirpura village, Lohagara upazila of Narail, on Tuesday evening. The deceased, identified as Sohag Sheikh, was a Class V student at Bahirpura Primary School and the son of Ali Sheikh, a local Union Parishad member.

According to United News of Bangladesh, family members became concerned when Sohag’s mother called him for dinner and received no response. Upon entering his room, she found him unconscious. The family immediately rushed him to Lohagara Upazila Health Complex, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Ajit Kumar Roy, Inspector (investigation) of Lohagara Police Station, stated that the exact reasons behind Sohag’s death are currently under investigation. He added that after completing the necessary formalities, the boy’s body would be handed over to the family.
