Colombo: Showers are forecasted to occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts. Fairly heavy rainfall, exceeding 75 mm, is anticipated in certain areas of the Sabaragamuwa province, along with Nuwara-Eliya, Kandy, Galle, and Matara districts.

According to News.LK, several spells of showers may also be expected in the Northern and North-western provinces. Additionally, strong winds, ranging from 50-60 kmph, are predicted over the Western slopes of the central hills, and in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-western, and North-central provinces. Elsewhere on the island, fairly strong winds of 30-40 kmph may occur.

The general public is advised to take necessary precautions to minimize potential damages caused by these strong winds.
