Nazim Uddin Alam Appointed to BNP Chairman’s Advisory Council


Dhaka: Former MP and BNP central executive committee member Nazim Uddin Alam has been appointed as a member of the party Chairman’s Advisory Council. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the appointment in a media release on Friday.



According to United News of Bangladesh, the press release stated that, under the party constitution, Nazim Uddin Alam has been nominated as a member of the Chairman’s Advisory Council. The party expressed its expectation that Alam will contribute effectively to strengthening the BNP through thoughtful advice and organisational activities.



Nazim Uddin Alam has a history of being elected to parliament three times from Bhola-4 on the BNP ticket. For the upcoming 13th parliamentary election, the BNP has nominated Nurul Islam Noyon, general secretary of the Jubo Dal, as its candidate for the same constituency.
