Colombo:Showers or thundershowers are predicted to occur in several parts of the island after 1 p.m., potentially bringing fairly heavy rainfall exceeding 50 mm in certain areas, including the Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-central provinces, as well as the Trincomalee and Mullaitivu districts.

According to News.LK, showers may also occur in the Western and Southern provinces during the morning hours. The general public is advised to take necessary precautions to minimize damage from temporary localized strong winds and lightning during these thundershowers.

Furthermore, misty conditions are anticipated in some areas of the Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Uva provinces, along with the Kurunegala and Anuradhapura districts during the early morning hours.
