Import and export activities between Bangladesh and India through Bibir Bazar land port of Cumilla with neighbouring India will remain suspended for six days commencing today (Wednesday) on the occasion of the Durga Puja.

Nirmal Pal, general secretary the land port Clearing and Forwarding, confirmed the matter saying that the business activities of the port will resume from October 15.

The port’s Immigration In-Charge (sub inspector) Imam Hossain informed that movement of passengers with valid documents will remain open during the period.
