Colombo: Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) chaired a Public Day program at the Defence Ministry premises, focusing on the welfare of tri-services veterans and the families of fallen war heroes. The initiative, held today, served as a crucial platform for addressing grievances and concerns of retired and disabled veterans, as well as the families of those who sacrificed their lives.
According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the Defence Secretary actively listened to the appeals of the attendees and instructed relevant officials to promptly resolve the raised issues. He stressed the importance of efficiently implementing administrative requirements to aid these families and veterans.
