Ampara: In an effort to bolster the healthcare infrastructure at Ampara Base Hospital, the Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit has donated four ICU beds under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Ruvini Rasika Perera, the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit. The beds were officially handed over during a ceremony at the hospital, marking a significant step in enhancing patient care in the area.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the handover event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Defence and hospital staff. This donation underscores the collaborative relationship between the defence and health sectors, aiming to improve critical care facilities in the region.
