According to United News of Bangladesh, a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday confirms these changes. Md Selim Khan, previously the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, has been promoted to the position of secretary. This move signifies a notable shift within the Ministry of Agriculture, impacting its leadership structure.
Additionally, the notification outlines the transfer of Agriculture Ministry Secretary (contractual) Rafiqul I Mohammad. He has been reassigned to serve as secretary on a contractual basis for the Public Division of the President’s Office. This transfer is part of a broader reshuffle intended to optimize the functioning of these departments.
Meanwhile, Khan Md Nurul Amin, who had been fulfilling the role of secretary for the Public Division, is now transferred to the Ministry of Public Administration. He will serve as secretary (attached) in his new assignment. This reshuffle reflects ongoing efforts to realign the administrative framework for improved governance.
