Colombo: Seylan Bank has made a financial contribution of Rs. 50 million to the Government’s Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund, which was established to provide relief to communities affected by the Di?wah cyclone.
According to News.LK, the relevant cheque was formally handed over yesterday afternoon at the Presidential Secretariat. The transaction was facilitated by Seylan Bank Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ramesh Jayasekera, who presented the cheque to the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
In addition to Mr. Jayasekera, Seylan Bank Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ranil Dissanayake and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Shanuka Jayaratne were also present at the occasion.
