Colombo: Showers are predicted to occur intermittently in the Northern, North-central, Eastern, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Matale and Nuwara-Eliya districts. The North-western province may also experience several spells of showers.

According to News.LK, showers or thundershowers are likely to occur in several other areas after 2:00 p.m. Misty conditions are anticipated in the early morning hours in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Uva provinces, along with Galle and Matara districts.

The general public is advised to take precautions to minimize damage from temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
