Colombo: The Government of Sri Lanka has expressed concern over recent incidents occurring along the Cambodia-Thailand border. These incidents have led to the loss of life, displacement of civilians, and damage to culturally significant sites in the region.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Sri Lanka, the nation, guided by the teachings of Lord Buddha, which emphasize non-violence, compassion, and peaceful coexistence, is urging both countries involved to engage in diplomatic dialogue. This call for dialogue is aimed at resolving the differences between Cambodia and Thailand in a peaceful manner.
