Showers or thundershowers are forecast to occur at most locations on the island post 1.00 p.m.

According to News.LK, fairly heavy falls exceeding 50 mm are likely in certain areas, including the Northern, North-central, Eastern, Central, and Uva provinces. Additionally, showers may occur in a few places in the Western and North-western provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts during the morning hours.
