US, Bangladesh Explore Expanding Collaboration in Energy Sector


Dhaka: American energy solutions in onshore exploration, the electrical grid, and supplies of LNG, LPG help deliver abundant, reliable energy to homes and businesses nationwide, said the US Embassy in Dhaka on Sunday. US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T Christensen met with Energy Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan and discussed ways to expand the U.S. companies’ collaboration in growing Bangladesh’s energy sector.



According to United News of Bangladesh, the meeting between the US Ambassador and the Energy Adviser focused on identifying potential areas of cooperation where American companies could contribute to Bangladesh’s energy infrastructure. The discussions reportedly highlighted the importance of onshore exploration and improvements to the electrical grid to ensure consistent energy supply.



The US Embassy emphasized the role of American energy solutions in providing reliable energy sources, specifically through the supply of LNG and LPG. These efforts are aimed at bolstering the energy sector in Bangladesh to meet the increasing demands from homes and businesses.



The collaboration between the US and Bangladesh in the energy sector is seen as a strategic move to strengthen bilateral ties and support Bangladesh’s economic growth by ensuring energy security and sustainability.
