Colombo: NDC College welcomed the Honourable Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) WWV RSP VSV USP ndc psc, at the Diners’ Club event on 31st July 2025. The Deputy Minister delivered a speech centered on ‘New Era of Good Governance and Future Challengers of Sri Lanka.’

According to Ministry of Defence, the Deputy Minister emphasized the significance of maintaining law and order, ensuring public security, achieving fiscal stability, advancing the digital economy, and combating corruption. His speech offered insights that enriched the understanding of those present.

The event also featured an interactive session, allowing Course Participants to engage with the Deputy Minister. They shared their perspectives on strategic-level security concerns and governance, fostering a valuable exchange of ideas.
