Colombo: Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka H.E. R©mi Lambert made a call on the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha, at the Defence Ministry today.

According to Ministry of Defence, the Defence Secretary extended a warm welcome to the French Ambassador and engaged in a cordial discussion with him. The meeting exemplified the mutual commitment of France and Sri Lanka in enhancing strategic cooperation, especially in the defence and maritime sectors.

The Defence Secretary expressed gratitude for France’s assistance to Sri Lanka and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the existing bilateral ties.
