Colombo: Under the guidance of the President Seva Vanitha Unit of Ministry of Defence, Dr. (Mrs.) Ruvini Rasika Perera, donated an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) bed to a Retired Warrant Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force to facilitate the home-based medical care of his two children with special needs.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the donation took place today (22 July) at the beneficiary’s residence in Adikarigama, Kandy, in the presence of representatives of the MOD Seva Vanitha Unit and the beneficiary’s family members.

This initiative reflects the MOD Seva Vanitha Unit’s continued commitment to supporting the families of retired Tri-Forces personnel through compassionate welfare programmes aimed at improving their quality of life and well-being.
