Gazipur: All officials and employees of Kashimpur Union Land Office have been suspended after finding prima facie evidence of various irregularities during a sudden inspection. Deputy Commissioner Md Nurul Karim Bhuiyan announced the suspension following the inspection that revealed initial evidence of misconduct in the office.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the suspended officials and employees include Acting Union Land Assistant Officer Wazed Ali Khan, along with Office Assistants Mostafa Kamal, Shafiqul Islam Khan, and Abdul Halim. The inspection, conducted in the morning, involved interactions with both the land office staff and individuals seeking services, leading to the discovery of preliminary evidence of irregular activities.

After reviewing the situation, the Deputy Commissioner ordered the suspension of all four officials and employees. Following this inspection, he proceeded to conduct another surprise inspection at the Shafipur Land Office.
