Sri jayewardenepura: A delegation of the Australian National Defence College’s Defence and Strategic Studies Course (DSSC), led by Colonel Brandon Wood, met with the Sri Lankan Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Defence Headquarters Complex in Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the Defence Secretary extended a warm reception to the Australian delegation, engaging in a cordial discussion on various topics of mutual interest. The meeting underscored the bilateral defence cooperation between the two nations.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Sri Lankan Ministry of Defence and Colonel Amanda Johnston, the Australian Defence Attaché at the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka, who highlighted the importance of such exchanges in enhancing defence relations.
