Durga Bari Stuttgart to Celebrate Grand Durga Puja 2026 in Germany


Stuttgart: Durga Bari Stuttgart, a cultural and social organisation representing the Bengali community in Stuttgart, Germany, will host its Durga Puja 2026 celebration from October 16 to 20 at Martin-Luther-Str.



According to United News of Bangladesh, the festival will include traditional Durga Puja rituals and ceremonies following the Hindu Panjika. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of cultural programs and authentic Bengali cuisine, including street food. Durga Puja’s popularity has expanded beyond Stuttgart and Baden-Wrttemberg, becoming a significant annual event for the Bengali diaspora throughout Germany.



Bimal Agarwala, President of Durga Bari Stuttgart, expressed the organisation’s mission to serve as a cultural home. “Dear members, guests and friends, we extend our warmest greetings to you all. Durga Bari Stuttgart is not merely an organization – it is a true home for our culture, heritage and community,” he stated. He emphasized the importance of engaging younger generations, saying, “Engaging the next generation is also one of our special goals – we want young people to become familiar with their cultural roots and carry that heritage forward.”
