Colombo: The Italian Naval Vessel ‘ITS Giuseppe Garibaldi’ arrived in Sri Lanka on a replenishment visit. The Sri Lanka Navy extended a welcome to the ship, adhering to naval traditions, at the port of Colombo.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, ‘ITS Giuseppe Garibaldi’ is a 180-meter-long Landing Helicopter Aircraft Vessel under the command of Captain Marco GUERRIERO. During its stay in Sri Lanka, the Commanding Officer of the vessel is scheduled to pay a visit to the Commander of the Western Naval Area.
