Colombo: Showers or thundershowers are anticipated to occur at several locations in the Uva, Central, and Eastern provinces, as well as in the Polonnaruwa district, after 2:00 p.m. Fairly heavy rainfall, exceeding 75 mm, is expected at some locations in the Uva and Eastern provinces.

According to News.LK, several spells of showers are also forecasted for the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with the Galle and Matara districts. The general public is advised to take appropriate precautions to mitigate the risk of temporary localized strong winds and lightning during these thundershowers.
