Bangladesh: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced a two-day programme of milad and prayer sessions to commemorate the 81st birth anniversary of former BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
According to United News of Bangladesh, milad and prayer programmes will be held at all universities, districts, and metropolitan areas across the country on Saturday, August 15. The announcement was made through a press release signed by Md Jahangir Alam, JCD’s Office Secretary, who holds the rank of Joint Vice-President.
The press release further stated that similar programmes would be organised at all educational institutions across the country on Sunday, August 16. JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir were responsible for announcing these programmes, emphasizing the importance of the events.
The organisation has called upon its leaders and activists at all levels to participate in the programmes and offer prayers for Khaleda Zia. The events are expected to be held nationwide, underscoring the significance of the occasion for Khaleda Zia’s supporters and the JCD community.
