Dhaka: A milad and doa mahfil was organized in the capital on Tuesday to pray for the eternal peace of the late Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal President Shafiul Bari Babu. The event took place at the Jame Mosque located in Nayapaltan at 5:00 pm.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the event was graced by the presence of BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, who attended as the chief guest. The mahfil was presided over by the current Swechchhasebak Dal President, SM Jilani. Prayers were offered during the ceremony for Babu’s eternal peace and the well-being of his family members.

The gathering saw the attendance of several notable figures, including BNP Joint Secretary General Advocate Abdus Salam, BNP Volunteer Affairs Secretary and former Swechchhasebak Dal General Secretary Mir Sarafat Hossain Sapu, Senior Vice-President Yasin Ali, Organising Secretary Nazmul Hasan, along with other leaders from different levels of the metropolitan and central committees.
