Omani and Indonesian Navy Ships Arrive in Colombo

Colombo: Two foreign naval vessels from the Royal Navy of Oman and the Indonesian Navy have docked at the Port of Colombo on scheduled port calls. The Omani naval ship AL SEEB and the Indonesian naval ship KRI SULTAN ISKANDAR MUDA-367 arrived for logistics replenishment.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Navy extended a traditional naval welcome to both ships upon their arrival. The KRI Sultan Iskandar Muda, a 90.7-metre-long Sigma-class corvette, is under the command of Commander Annugerah Anurullah. Meanwhile, the 75-metre-long AL SEEB is commanded by Lieutenant Commander Hamad bin Mohammed Aldarmaki.

The crews of both ships are set to visit several places of importance during their stay in the country.
