Colombo: Over 130,000 vehicles were registered in Sri Lanka during the first seven months of this year, said the Department of Motor Traffic, yesterday.
According to Nam News Network, Commissioner General of the department, Kamal Amarasinghe, stated that a total of 133,678 vehicles were registered by the end of July. The data reveals that motorcycles constituted the majority of these registrations, with 100,451 vehicles. This was followed by 20,535 motor cars, 3,293 three-wheelers, and 1,995 dual-purpose vehicles.
