Warsaw: Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Human Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland, Przemyslaw Domagala, along with his delegation, met with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena. The meeting took place at the Sri Lankan Embassy premises on 06 October 2025. The primary focus was on planning the logistics for the upcoming bilateral negotiations concerning the Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between the two nations, slated for December 2025 in Colombo.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Sri Lanka, the discussion served as a platform for both parties to exchange insights on enhancing legal cooperation. Ambassador Dharmasena reiterated Sri Lanka’s dedication to strengthening its partnership with Poland, emphasizing the importance of continuous dialogue and collaboration.
