Dhaka: The government has appointed Prof Dr Md Sohel Rana from the Department of Pharmacy at Jahangirnagar University (JU) as the new treasurer of the university. This appointment was made official through a gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Education’s Secondary and Higher Education Division.

According to United News of Bangladesh, Prof Sohel Rana’s term as treasurer will last for four years from the date of his joining or until his retirement, whichever is earlier.
