According to United News of Bangladesh, the US Secretary of State congratulated India on the enactment of the Sustainable Harnessing and Advancement of Nuclear Energy for Transforming India bill. Secretary Rubio expressed interest in leveraging this significant development to bolster U.S.-India civil nuclear cooperation, expand opportunities for American companies, advance shared energy security goals, and secure critical mineral supply chains.
Additionally, Secretary Rubio and Minister Jaishankar discussed the ongoing bilateral trade agreement negotiations and their mutual interest in strengthening economic cooperation between the two nations.
