Colombo: The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Mr Levan S. Dzhagaryan, met the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), on 07th May, at the Ministry of Defence: The meeting was marked by a cordial discussion aimed at enhancing defence and security cooperation between Sri Lanka and the Russian Federation.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the meeting was attended by officials from the Russian Embassy, including the Defence Attaché. The discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to further strengthen their bilateral relations in the field of defence and security.
