Dhaka: Three Bangladeshi nationals were tragically killed, and another was seriously injured in an altercation believed to be among co-workers at a residence in Port Dickson, Malaysia, on Monday afternoon. The identities of the victims remain unknown at this time.

According to United News of Bangladesh, Negri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad reported the arrest of a fellow Bangladeshi man in his 40s, suspected to be involved in the incident, as per the New Straits Times. Police received a report at approximately 4:15 pm on Monday from the public regarding a fight involving several Bangladeshi nationals at a house in Taman Linggi.

Alzafny stated that upon receiving the information, a police team from the Linggi station promptly arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect. Subsequent investigations led to the discovery of two additional bodies at the Sua Manggis estate in Linggi.

The police chief confirmed that the three Bangladeshi men succumbed to severe injuries inflicted on various parts of their bodies. Meanwhile, another victim sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at Rembau Hospital. Initial investigations indicate that all individuals involved were co-workers residing at the same location.

The incident reportedly occurred at multiple sites, and investigations are underway to determine the exact sequence of events. Preliminary checks revealed that the suspect has no prior criminal record, Alzafny added.
