Colombo: Showers are anticipated at a few locations in the sea areas off the coast stretching from Chilaw to Matara via Colombo and Galle.

According to News.LK, the wind patterns in these regions will predominantly be westerly to south-westerly, with speeds ranging between 25 to 35 kmph.

The wind speed is expected to rise to 50 kmph at times, particularly in the sea areas off the coast extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota. Consequently, the state of the sea in these areas may become fairly rough at times, presenting challenging conditions for maritime activities.
