Colombo: The Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence, under the patronage of its President, Dr. (Mrs.) Ruvini Rasika Perera, extended its continued support through a donation programme held today (20 February) at the Ministry premises: During the programme, a financial contribution was granted for the upgrading of an artificial limb of a child from a veteran family. The assistance reflects the Unit’s steadfast commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of military families who have made immense sacrifices in service to the nation.
According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, this initiative is part of a broader effort by the Seva Vanitha Unit to provide essential support to military families. The Unit has consistently worked to address the needs of those who have served in the armed forces and their families, ensuring they receive necessary aid and recognition for their sacrifices.
