Doha:Central Province An initiative titled ‘An Evening with Diplomats’ was launched with the objective of attracting foreign investment and expanding international market opportunities for entrepreneurs in Central Province. The event took place on 30 October at the Central Provincial Council Auditorium.

According to News.LK, the programme is designed to accelerate the development of the tourism, agriculture, and small business sectors in the region by forming international partnerships and creating new opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

Ambassadors and representatives from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand, all members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), participated in the meeting. ASEAN is known for fostering economic, political, social, and cultural cooperation among Southeast Asian countries.

The initiative focuses on promoting tourism, attracting foreign investments in agriculture and small business development, and establishing international business connections to aid local entrepreneurs in accessing global markets.
