Colombo: The outgoing Deputy High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, paid a farewell call on the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence today (09 June). This meeting marked the end of Dr. Pandey’s tenure in Sri Lanka, during which he played a role in reinforcing the diplomatic relationship between the two neighboring countries.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, during the meeting, the Defence Secretary and Dr. Pandey discussed the longstanding and friendly relations between Sri Lanka and India. The Defence Secretary expressed appreciation for Dr. Pandey’s efforts in enhancing bilateral ties and extended his best wishes for Dr. Pandey’s future endeavors.
