Maritime Ports Advised to Hoist Cautionary Signal No. 3 Due to Low Pressure Area

Chattogram: The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra have been instructed to keep hoisted local cautionary signal No. 3. This directive comes as a result of a low pressure area that has formed over the Northwest Bay and the adjoining coastal regions.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the Met office bulletin indicates that the influence of this low pressure area may result in squally weather affecting the maritime ports, North Bay, and the adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh. In light of these conditions, all fishing boats and trawlers operating over the North Bay have been advised to stay close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
