Malabe:The President of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Seva Vanitha Unit, Dr (Mrs.) Ruvini Rasika Perera, made a significant contribution to the Dr. Nevil Fernando Memorial Air Force Hospital by donating several intensive care unit (ICU) beds and ICU trolleys today.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, this event marked Dr (Mrs.) Perera’s first visit to the hospital since its management was transferred to the Sri Lanka Air Force. The donation underscores the Seva Vanitha Unit’s ongoing dedication to enhancing healthcare services and supporting welfare initiatives for the broader community.

The donation ceremony was attended by officials from the Seva Vanitha Unit and authorities from the hospital, highlighting the collaborative effort to improve healthcare infrastructure.
