Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Fuad Hussein, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Iraq, Janet Alberda, at the Ministry’s headquarters. The meeting focused on discussing bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for enhancing joint cooperation between Iraq and the Netherlands.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussions also included the latest political developments in Iraq, particularly the formation of the Iraqi government. Minister Hussein outlined the ongoing efforts to align the views of various political forces and address the challenges of the government formation process. He emphasized the necessity of achieving national understandings to bolster political and security stability in Iraq.
Minister Hussein reiterated Iraq’s commitment to collaborating with the international community and ensuring a conducive environment for diplomatic missions. He acknowledged the Netherlands’ contributions to Iraq, especially in humanita
