According to News.LK, fairly heavy falls exceeding 50 mm are expected in certain areas within the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, and North-central provinces. Coastal regions in the Western and Southern provinces are also likely to experience showers during the morning.

Misty conditions are predicted in some areas of the Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-central, and Uva provinces. The general public is advised to take necessary precautions to reduce the risk of damage from temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
