Colombo: Colonel Eli Toledano Eitan, the Defence Attaché of the Embassy of Israel to Sri Lanka, based in New Delhi, paid a courtesy call on the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence today.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, during the meeting, the Defence Secretary and the visiting Defence Attaché engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest. They explored avenues for bilateral cooperation in defence-related affairs, focusing on strengthening the ties between the two nations. The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration in defence to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation.
