Colombo: The Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit organised a brief donation ceremony today, during which two wheelchairs and a mobile tent were handed over to selected beneficiaries.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the event was held under the patronage of the President of the MOD Seva Vanitha Unit, Dr. (Mrs) Ruvini Rasika Perera, who officially presented the donations.

The mobile tent was donated to the Sri Lanka Air Force Scouts in support of their scouting and outdoor activities. Meanwhile, the two wheelchairs were presented to family members of Tri-Forces personnel as part of the Seva Vanitha Unit’s ongoing welfare and community assistance initiatives.
