Dikovita: A local multi-day fishing vessel suspected of transporting narcotics was escorted to the Dikovita Fisheries Harbor today following a special operation conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy. The vessel was intercepted in the deep seas off the south-western coast of Sri Lanka and subsequently taken into naval custody. Six suspects who were on board the vessel were also apprehended during the operation.

According to News.LK, the Navy stated that it continues to carry out regular patrols and special operations in the surrounding sea areas to ensure national security. These ongoing efforts led to the detection and seizure of the vessel believed to be involved in narcotics smuggling.
