Colombo: The outgoing Director General of the Centre for Defence Research and Development (CDRD), Commodore Janaka Gunaseela, recently visited the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at his office. During this meeting, the Defence Secretary expressed his gratitude for Commodore Gunaseela’s service and contributions to the CDRD.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, the Defence Secretary and Commodore Gunaseela engaged in a cordial discussion. The Defence Secretary took the opportunity to thank the outgoing Director General for his insightful service and invaluable contributions to the Centre. Additionally, he extended his best wishes to Commodore Gunaseela for his future professional endeavors.
