Colombo: Ceylon tea, coconut products, and drinking water were prominently featured at the Food and Hotel Asia (FHA) food and beverage exhibition held at Expo Singapore from April 8-11, 2025. The event provided a significant opportunity for Sri Lankan businesses to showcase their products to an international audience.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Sri Lanka, the exhibition opened with a ceremony attended by Singapore’s Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Alvin Tan, who served as the Guest of Honor. The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Singapore and the Minister (Commercial) were present at the event, visiting all the Sri Lankan booths and expressing appreciation to the participating companies for their efforts in promoting Sri Lanka’s renowned Ceylon tea, coconut products, and drinking water.

The High Commission played a crucial role in supporting the Sri Lankan companies by inviting potential importers to visit their booths and coordinating business-to-business meetings. The four Sri Lankan companies that took part in the exhibition were Stassen Exports Pvt Ltd, NDC Exports (Pvt) Ltd, Sugano Colombo (Pvt) Ltd, and Eins Water Distributors.
