Colombo: The Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka, H.E. Dr. Purna Bahadurn Nepali, made a farewell courtesy call on Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya at the Temple Trees premises on April 30th.
According to News.LK, during the meeting, Prime Minister Amarasuriya expressed sincere appreciation for Dr. Nepali’s dedicated service and the valuable contributions he made to strengthen the longstanding bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Nepal. Both parties emphasized the shared cultural, religious, and historical ties that have fostered the relationship between the two nations.
The Prime Minister reiterated Sri Lanka’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations with Nepal and enhancing cooperation for mutual benefit. The farewell meeting was attended by several key officials, including the Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mr. Pradeep Saputhanthri, Additional Secretary Ms. Sagarika Bogahawatta, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism.
