Colombo: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that it is maintaining close contact with all Sri Lankan diplomatic missions in the Middle Eastern region and continues to closely monitor ongoing developments.

According to News.LK, Sri Lankan missions in the region have established emergency hotlines, enabling nationals to remain in contact with the respective missions in case of any urgent requirements. The Ministry reports that there has so far been no significant impact on Sri Lankans residing in the Middle East.

Heads of missions are in constant communication with the Foreign Ministry, while an additional emergency hotline is expected to be set up shortly to further assist Sri Lankan nationals if needed.
