Colombo: The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mr. Mohsin Naqvi, held a meeting with the Secretary of Defence, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), yesterday evening.

According to Ministry of Defence – Sri Lanka, during the discussions, Mr. Naqvi expressed his gratitude for the excellent organization and comprehensive security arrangements provided for the T-20 matches and the visiting cricket teams. He also thanked the Sri Lankan government for the warm hospitality extended to the Pakistan team.

The Defence Secretary reciprocated by appreciating the Pakistan Cricket team and highlighted that cricket plays a significant role in strengthening the bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and goodwill among nations through international sporting engagements.
