Colombo: Showers or thundershowers are anticipated at several locations in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Southern provinces, as well as in the Nuwara-Eliya district post-1.00 pm. Other regions of the island are expected to experience mainly dry weather conditions.

According to News.LK, misty conditions are likely to occur in the early morning hours across some areas in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, and Uva provinces, along with the Galle and Matara districts. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions to mitigate potential damages due to temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.

The atmospheric conditions conducive to evening thundershowers are projected to become more favorable across most parts of the island starting from the 20th of April onwards.
